Yoga Outreach humbly offers this series of monthly learning events for current volunteers, training alumni, and the public on topics relevant to yoga, social justice, professional development, and practical skill building.

At the heart of yoga philosophy sits an interest in liberation, or ‘moksha’. With this series, we’re working to build community and centre relationship within a yoga context. But, we recognize that we cannot do this work without uplifting the voices of people with lived experience as our teachers. Our hope is that these workshops will support others to resist oppressive patterns in their own practice and lives. With moksha as our guiding principle, we are working to cultivate a series diverse in topics and in presenters’ lived experiences.

Yoga Outreach employs a sliding scale for fees for our workshops to support broader access.

There are a limited amount of slots for classes offered at the middle and lower end of the scale. Please be mindful that if you purchase a price at the lowest end of the scale when you can truthfully afford the higher ticket prices, you are limiting access to those who truly need the gift of financial flexibility. Being honest with yourself and your financial situation when engaging with sliding scale practices grows strong and sustainable communities. *Adapted from
